During the title ceremony, Danrem 163/WSA read out the remarks of Pangdam IX/Udayana General Major TNI Sonny Aprianto, S.E., M.M., as the Commander of the VVIP joint security task force who said that the Working Visit the President of Republic Indonesia and his entourage in Bali Province from 7 to 9 November 2022 in order to check readiness of implementation the G20 Presidency Summit activities in Nusa Dua.
Kodam IX/Udayana as The Joint Task Force for VVIP Security in Bali and Nusa Tenggara Regions, on that occasion Pangdam emphasized that everything related to planning, preparation and implementation of VVIP security must always start from the beginning and there is no routine term.
Furthermore, Kodam IX/Udayana together with the Regional Police, Regional Government and other supporting elements always work together to achieve the goals and objectives of VVIP security. "The success of implementation VVIP security is determined by the existence of good cooperation and coordination between elements or security implementing units," said Pangdam.
VVIP security activities do not tolerate the slightest error, such as lack of supervision so that it can be exploited by certain parties who deliberately want to create an unfavorable situation. Observing this, Pangdam stressed that all personnel of the Pam VVIP Task Force must adhere to discipline, do not be careless and hesitate in acting, observe and report any developments in the situation that occur.
